Bcn Restaurantes
Cuisine in the Mediterranean environment has become something to worship. The richness and variety of products has been the main cause, as well as the cooks' constant concern to investigate and innovate. This has been the clue for its development. Restaurants in Barcelona have become a pilgrimage destiny for cuisine lovers and gourmets from all around the world.
At Nectari restaurant, Jordi Esteve and its team mirror the balance between creative and innovative cuisine and traditional, seasonal cuisine. For them, searching for high quality local products is the first step to create cuisine with differentiated techniques, either the latest or the most traditional ones.
A strong point of the restaurant is their concern about celliac disease, with dishes suitable for people who suffer this problem.
The menu changes every three months, as it is elaborated with strictly seasonal products. On the other hand, the set lunch menu changes every week.

Excellent quality-price ratio for this rather recent restaurant, Nectari, which comes very close to high gastronomy in all simplicity!
Jordi Esteve, its young chef does not miss indeed imagination to reinvent a very beautiful Mediterranean cuisine.
Cream of potatoes with cod sorbet and butifarra, crawfish risotto with wasabi, cicadas of the sea with spinach emulsion, turbot in crust and many others fishes of the Catalan coast. A delight!!
Time Out
The young chef Jordi Esteve’s style is based on quality and creativity, and underpinned with tradition. How about some scallops with truffle and fish foam? And save room for dessert, as Esteve's coconut-infused creations, which he came up with when looking for a dish that 'gives the feeling of sitting near a wood fire to stave off a winter's chill'. In more good news for everyone, there's also a menu for coeliacs.
