Located in La Barceloneta, Can Majó restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy a good rice dish, a tasteful fideua or the freshest fish and seafood.
With a really cosy interior and a decor that perfectly matches the gastronomy of the restaurant, the atmosphere in this place is really nice and quiet. The restaurant has a wonderful terrace that invites us, in summer, to an irresistible lunch accompanied by the gentle sea breeze.
The restaurant receives high quality fresh fish and seafood on a daily basis and with it they prepare traditional dishes. We recommend beginning with a ""pica-pica"" and then choosing one of the dishes of the menu. They also elaborate homemade desserts, so it is better not to eat too much in order to try one of their delicious suggestions.
The restaurant offers free parking for clients.

Nile Guide
Over the last 30 years, this restaurant on La Barceloneta beach has transformed itself from a simple snack bar to a much more sophisticted venue. It's now considered one of the best restaurants in the area. The menu is clear and simple: fresh seafood of impeccable quality along with paellas and rich homemade desserts. The wine list offers a wide range from bargain bottles to fine vintages from Rioja and Navarra. There's also a cigar and liqueur menu.

Fodors
At the edge of the beach in Barceloneta, this is one of Barcelona's premier seafood restaurants. House specialties are caldero de bogavante (a cross between paella and lobster bouillabaisse) and suquet (fish stewed in its own juices), but whatever you choose will be excellent. In summer the terrace overlooking the Mediterranean is the closest you can now come to the Barceloneta chiringuitos (shanty restaurants) that used to line the beach here. Even so, there's nothing "shanty" about the decor: a white-tablecloth experience with soft pendant lighting inside.

Frommer's
Set close to the harbor on the western edge of Barceloneta, this is one of the finest seafood restaurants in the city. In summer a terrace table here is much in demand. The interior decor, with its painting-lined walls, is in an inviting rustic-tavern style, and the staff is hospitable and friendly, although service is sometimes rushed. The restaurant is renowned for its veieras (scallops), ostras (oysters), and wide range of Mediterranean and Atlantic fish, all delivered fresh daily. Now into its fourth decade, Can Majó still serves as delicious a bullabesa de mariscos (shellfish bouillabaisse) as you'll find in the area. Also very good are the calamares salteados (sautéed squid) and bacalao (cod) served in a savory green sauce with baby clams in their shells.

Loyalists “love” this Barceloneta seafooder, under the same family ownership since 1968, serving “incredible”, “extremely fresh” Catalan specialties with a “wonderful home-cooked” style that lures fans for “once-a-week” dining; “friendly” service and the neighborhood’s “fishing-[village] atmosphere with laundry hanging everywhere” add to its appeal, so be sure to “reserve in advance” for an outdoor table.
