Bcn Restaurantes
Silvestre is a restaurant with soul where we will eat as we would like to eat at home: excellent cuisine in a quiet, personal, cosy atmosphere.
The restaurant is elegant and offers different spaces and private rooms with different capacities, ideal for either a business meeting, a family celebration or a more intimate dinner.
Guillermo Casañé and Marta Cabot, the owners of the business, run the restaurant since 2000. Marta welcomes the clients with a big smile on her face and exquisite kindness, while Guillermo seduces them with his modernised traditional dishes.
The menu at Silvestre is based on high quality products and combines seasonal cuisine with surprising elements and an exotic touch. In short, Silvestre is a place to feel pampered by a really kind staff that takes care down to the very last detail and knows how to turn any meal into a special moment.

Fodors
A graceful and easygoing mainstay in Barcelona's culinary galaxy, this restaurant serves modern cuisine to some of the city's most discerning and distinguished diners. Located just below Via Augusta, Silvestre's series of intimate dining rooms and cozy corners are carefully tended by chef Guillermo (Willy) Casañé and his charming wife Marta Cabot, a fluent English-speaking maître d' and partner. Look for fresh market produce lovingly prepared in dishes such as tuna tartare, noodles and shrimp, or wood pigeon with duck liver. Willy's semi-secret list of house wines is always surprising for its quality and value.

Nile Guide
This busy eating house is frequented by the bold and the beautiful. With emphasis on quality, it serves pastas, salads, paella, seafood and meat dishes. First timers should try the Tuna Millefueille or Eastern Noodles with Squid here. You can opt for wines by the glass but the list is very limited. There's a steady flow of customers, so reserve to avoid disappointment.

Time Out
A place for fine cuisine, in the uptown area of the city. Noted for its superb market cuisine, highly original and tasty. Try the delicious cod with pigs’ trotters, with capers or ratatouille, and the chef also recommends: belly of tuna with celery purée, bean sprouts and ginger, or tuna in mille-feuille with caramelised peppers, onions and goat cheese. Excellent interior decor and service. Good wine list. All cooked and served by the owners.
